Spanish Pronouns

1) Match the phrases with the correct subject pronoun:

Yo trabajo en la zapatería (Yo is the correct pronoun for "I work at the shoe store")

Él camina con amigos en la ciudad (Él is the correct pronoun for "He walks with friends in the city")

Ellos compran comida en ese restaurante (Ellos is the correct pronoun for "They buy food at that restaurant")

Ella limpia la casa con su familia (Ella is the correct pronoun for "She cleans the house with her family")

Ellos hablan en la competencia (Ellos is the correct pronoun for "They speak in the competition")

2) Rewrite the sentences substituting subjects with subject pronouns:

Benjamín y Carlos trabajan → Ellos trabajan Benjamin and Carlos work → They work

Carolina estudia mucho → Ella estudia mucho Carolina studies much → She studies much

Roberto camina en el parque → Él camina en el parque Roberto walks in the park → He walks in the park

Pedro, Ángel y Carlos caminan en la competencia → Ellos caminan en la competencia Pedro, Angel and Carlos walk in the competition → They walk in the competition

Manuel y Javier limpian los libros → Ellos limpian los libros Manuel and Javier clean the books → They clean the books

Pablo maneja el auto → Él maneja el auto Pablo drives the car → He drives the car

Lucas usa el teléfono → Él usa el teléfono Lucas uses the phone → He uses the phone

Ana baila en el concierto → Ella baila en el concierto Ana dances in the concert → She dances in the concert
