Negative Sentences in Simple Present / Oraciones Negativas en Presente Simple

Formation / Formación

To form negative sentences in Simple Present, it is only necessary to add the word "no" before the verb.

Para formar oraciones negativas en Presente Simple, solo es necesario añadir la palabra "no" antes del verbo.

Examples / Ejemplos

Nelson no camina en la avenida Nelson does not walk in the city

Ana y Manuel no comen en el restaurante Ana and Manuel do not eat at the restaurant

Complete and conjugate the verbs in affirmative and negative in Simple Present.

Affirmative / Afirmativo

  • Carolina come vegetales (comer) Carolina eats vegetables

  • Daniel y Luis trabajan en la Universidad (trabajar) Daniel and Luis work at the University

  • Ben limpia la casa (limpiar) Ben cleans the house

  • Paul corre en la competencia (correr) Paul runs in the competition
